The mission of the ZTA Foundation, through successful fundraising by alumnae and collegians, is to fulfill the founding principles of Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity by providing support for programs that are educational, philanthropic and always responsive to the needs of a changing society, further enhancing ZTA’s leadership position in the fraternity/sorority community and its influence in the world.

Your donation supports:

PHILANTHROPY

Zeta Tau Alpha’s national philanthropy is breast cancer education and awareness.

One in eight women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime, so this cause is personal. Through local and national partnerships, campus and community initiatives, and the distribution of millions of pink ribbons since 1992, ZTA collegiate and alumnae members are dedicated to our philanthropy.

PROGRAMMING

The ZTA Foundation supports educational and leadership development programs designed to guide our members as they become their best selves. These programs address timely and timeless topics (hazing prevention, mental health resources, DEI initiatives, workshops on alcohol education, sexual assault and relational violence prevention, etc.) to help our sisters make the most of their college experiences and prepare for success after college.

SCHOLARSHIPS

As educational costs rise, the number of scholarship applicants increases.

The ZTA Scholarship Program remains at the heart of the ZTA Foundation’s mission. Thanks to contributions from Zeta Tau Alpha alumnae chapters, collegiate chapters, members and friends, the Foundation awarded more than $855,070 to 286 graduate and undergraduate students for the 2021–2022 school year. This brings the total amount awarded in the past two years to more than $2.2 million.
